In Medium, a writer can move back to restore the past content using the “Revision History“ feature.
Likewise, kindly allow the writer to restore previous versions by incorporating a version history option. It’s quite typical to remember what edits were made after saving the draft or revisiting the article for updates.
This would help to understand the concept much better.

I just encountered an issue while working on a draft, were I lost all my recent changes. I used two PC's but not at the same time, while writing on the first PC, it dead so I continued on the second PC.Unfortunately, when I got the first PC powered up, and turned it on. The draft page was still opened and my recent changes was lost.I'm assuming this is what happened, but I'll really love the Revision history feature.

Same here, I’m digesting the fact that I just lost all my changes on a draft for exactly the same reason. I made the edits on the iPad but a page with a previous version was open on my laptop.The autosave should verify if there is a further revision before trying to save the changes. Also, the revision history feature is needed.
